Ensuring the Health and Safety of our people and partners

Our company's close monitoring of this situation enabled us to quickly tighten regulations on social distancing, personal hygiene and health screening in all our sites in line with guidelines set by Philippine health authorities and the LafargeHolcim Group.

We also immediately complied with the quarantine orders from the national and local government to contain the spread of Covid-19. We shifted to electronic correspondences in dealing with our business partners to limit human-to-human contact. Our digital platforms also enable us to provide our customers a convenient way to continue transactions with us amid the quarantine. Information on Covid-19 is regularly shared with employees and business partners  to help them stay updated and safe. Our company also took action to cushion the ecnomic impact of Covid-19 on its employees.

Extending a hand to our communities

Through our corporate citizenship campaign Holcim Helps, our company has responded to the government’s call to assist local communities in cushioning Covid-19’s social and economic impact.

We have allocated resources to donate much-needed medical personal protective equipment such as surgical masks, respirators, and face shields to public hospitals assigned by the Department of Health to treat Covid-19 patients.

Our company has similarly prioritized supporting communities hosting our operations in La Union, Bulacan, Manila Batangas, Iloilo, Misamis Oriental and Davao with much-needed food and hygiene products. Approximately 1,500 families and government front line workers have already benefited our initial batch of donations.
